Buddy Roberto Vet Bill

Organized by California GSP Rescue

Fundraising Goal is met!
November 27, 2009 - A BIG thanks to all the people that helped us meet the ChipIn goal allowing us to pay for Buddy Roberto's vet bill. Simply put, we couldn't do what we do without the kindness and support from so many caring individuals.

Buddy Roberto is scheduled to see Dr Kang one more time in a couple of weeks. At that time, if all goes well, he will be released and we will begin looking for Buddy Roberto's forever home. To follow the rest of Buddy Roberto's story, please click on the link below.

X-Rays of Buddy Roberto's leg shows leg is on the mend
November 25, 2009 - Buddy Roberto's went to see Dr Kang today and have a x-ray done of his leg. X-ray shows his leg is healing well and Dr Kang thinks in another couple of weeks he'll be allowed normal exercise.

$910 lowered to $810
November 14, 2009 - We received a nice donation at the rescue from one of the volunteers on Saturday. Since there isn't a way to apply the check towards the amount on ChipIn, we lowered the goal $100 to $810. Since this is our first time using ChipIn, we're learning the ins and outs - on the other website that we use to use, you couldn't adjust the amount of your goal. Thanks to everyone that has donated and helped.
Buddy Roberto gets his stitches out and a visitor
November 11, 2009 - Buddy Roberto got his stitches removed today and had a visit from Kayla. In two weeks, Buddy Roberto is scheduled to have another x-ray to see how well his leg is healing.

Buddy Roberto Before Surgery

Buddy Roberto is a 2 year old purebred German Shorthaired Pointer that recently had an operation to fix a fractured left elbow (Distal partial articular fracture of the lateral aspect of the humeral condyle). The operation required a bone screw insertion with lag effect and was performed by Dr Kang of the College Pet Clinic in Oceanside.

GSP Rescue is now faced with raising the necessary funds to help pay for Buddy Roberto's surgery. Please help us by making a small pledge and spreading the word about Buddy Roberto.

Buddy Roberto is recovering with limited physical activity but will be on all fours very soon.
